Approval and security
Does anything go out without my approval?
No. A post is only published once someone with approval rights has approved it and confirmed the time. It only counts as published once the platform has confirmed it.
Can you as the provider see my data?
Only if you give us a time-limited permission, for example for support. Every access is in your log, and you can withdraw it at any time.
What does the emergency stop do?
One click immediately stops everything scheduled for this brand. On top of that, at most three posts a day go out per brand, and a block list keeps out topics you do not want.
How is my account protected?
Sign-in is secured with two factors for everyone. Every person gets a role: Admin, Editor, Approver or Read only.
AI and the law
How is AI content labelled?
AI pictures carry a visible label in the picture, posts a note in the text. The EU AI Act requires it, and it cannot be switched off.
Do I own the AI pictures?
AI pictures are generally not protected by copyright in Germany and the EU. You can use them, but others may use similar ones. If a picture should be yours, have people rework it or use your own photos.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes. In the picture workshop you add your own photos and confirm that you hold the rights to them. Your own photos make your feed more personal, and they belong to you.

Which channels are there?
Instagram and Facebook with picture posts today. Carousels, stories and reels follow during the beta.
What is the playbook?
The playbook describes your brand: positioning, tone of voice, colours, logo, pillars and taboos. heyplanoo writes the draft from your website and an interview, and you approve it. Every change is saved as a new version.
Which templates are there?
Five types: statement, number, quote, motif and announcement. You can create your own templates or take them from your brand manual.
Data and contract
Where is my data?
The database and pictures are stored in Germany with Hetzner. AI processing runs with Anthropic (text) and fal.ai (pictures) in the US, covered by standard contractual clauses. These providers do not currently offer AI processing in the EU.
Can I stop at any time?
You can export all data as a ZIP file at any time and request deletion. Deletion happens within 30 days. Terms and notice periods are in the terms and conditions.
Is heyplanoo available for the US too?
Yes. During setup you decide whether your account is run in the EU or the US region.
